These cover redesigns of the Cormoran Strike series by Robert Galbraith (pseudonym for J.K. Rowling) was inspired by the stories’ beautiful writings covering up the dark and horrendous tales behind them. Throughout each chapter you find quotes from various scholars which not only are elegant sounding with their diction, but also packs a punch with a twisted meaning once analyzed. My goal for designing these book covers was to take natural, beautiful objects from the stories and give them an eerie undertone.
